Commission Agreement

BELLOW ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR COMMISSIONING A CUSTOM PAINITING, ENSURING CLARITY AND TRANSPARENCY THROUGHOUT THE COMMISSION PROCESS.  

PRICING 

Once your commission has been accepted, the price will be locked into the agreed upon sum unless further adjustments are required. The artist retains the right to increase the price of any and all future commissions.

The raising of artwork prices is an industry standard that will increase the value of your original over time.

I charge a starting rate of $6 per square inch for pre-built canvas.

For all custom built/custom size canvas I charge a rate starting at $7 per square inch. 

Shipping costs will be determined once I’ve received your desired dimensions, canvas type (wood panel or linen) , and address for delivery.

The smallest commission size I take on is an 18” x 24”.

PAYMENT, HOW DOES IT WORK?

Payment options include ACH Wire or Zelle. Please note that neither the painting nor initial concept design will commence without a 50% (non-refundable) deposit. Once your artwork is complete, the remaining 50% will be invoiced with a seven day due date and payment is expected to be prompt. The painting will hang tight in the studio until the payment has cleared. If the payment has not been received within 30 days of delivery of the invoice to your inbox, the artwork will be re-sold with no refund to you. 

MOCK - UPS

I will be provided with a digital mock-up of the piece for your approval. If needed you are given 24 hours to make a 1 time adjustment to the Sketch, otherwise after our mock-up consultation the sketch is finalized. Note that the mock-up is a concept for me to draw upon within the painting process. 

SHIPPING THE ARTWORK, WILL YOU DELIVER TO MY COUNTRY?

Artwork will be delivered directly to your door via courier. The artwork will be sent with a certificate of authenticity and insurance for shipment. All damage claims need to be reported within 24 hours of delivery via email at hajooraart@gmail.com with photos attached.

WHO “OWNS“ THE ARTWORK?

Once delivered, you own the original piece and reserve the right to display the artwork in your home.

The artist retains all copyright and reproduction rights to any and all artwork produced. You may not print and reproduce the work. 

The purchase of partial or full rights to the artwork is firmly unattainable and is not subject to negotiation.
